イングランド/ロンドン拠点のオルタナティヴロックバンド Lip Fillerが、10/9にChess Club Recordsからリリースしたニューシングル 'Limelite'のMVを公開！
ディレクターは Orien Cleis。
プロデューサーは St. Francis Hotel (Little Simz, Greentea Peng)。
5月にデビューEP『Lip Filler』、The Great Escape, Dot To Dot, Y Not, VISIONSなどのフェスシーズンを駆け抜けて、最近は Picture Parlour, Alfie Templemanのサポートを務めたネクストブレイク筆頭。
初期の頃からあったダンスパンク要素は影を潜め、歌に寄り添う演奏になったような気がしますね。気のせいかな。
“Limelite is very much an embodiment of mixed emotions; not being sure what the best thing is for yourself and projecting these uncertainties onto someone else. Being caught between two minds, acting impulsively yet irrationally. I feel like this song captures an adolescent naïveté which is self-ashamedly honest. This is the first song that we ever wrote as a band - I think that it's very fitting of that (in a funny way).”
