カリフォルニア州サンディエゴ拠点のインディーロックバンド Lead Ponyが、6/20にリリースしたニューシングル 'Strangers'のMVを公開！
Lead Ponyは Jesse Hofstee, Hillary Laughery, Dylan Stallardの3人組。2016年に結成、これまでに2枚のEPを発表し、2019年にはドラマ『シェイムレス 俺たちに恥はない』で楽曲が使用されてます。
'Strangers'は7/14発売のデビューアルバム『Vultures』収録曲。サイケ・ブルースの影響を感じさせるギターの音が大好物です。
“'Strangers has been floating around for a while but was rewritten and took on a new life during our recording sessions with Trevor Spencer. It describes a wild night at a party, with the chorus, 'Life’s a party’, sung with more melancholy than celebration. It’s about the human disconnect that social media has facilitated, the pressures that come along with it, and the false representation that it often can portray. You could post a picture of yourself looking like you’re having the time of your life at a party but in reality you could be drinking alone. It's a party song for the strangers.” - Jesse Hofstee
