オクラホマ州タルサ拠点のドリームポップ・アーティスト Endless Formsが、9/14にDRRT RecordsからリリースしたEP『Electric Heat Hypnotized』より、タイトル曲を公開！
Endless Formsはプロデューサー・ライター Justin Allenによる名義。2015年から活動をはじめ、近年ではNetflix『エリート』『キッツ』などで楽曲が使用されてます。
8月に公開して今回のEPに入ってる'Drowned in Nuance'って曲がかっこよかったから気になってた作品で期待を裏切らない内容でした。空間的な広がりと反復し合う音の重なりがめっちゃいい感じ。
“Electric Heat Hypnotized is about a sort of paradox in my artistic identity that I’ve been trying to solve for years. On one hand, it’s about what it means to search for artistic purity in my art and in my life, and, on the other hand, it’s admitting that sometimes an inflated sense of purity is actually a form of vanity. In the past I’ve mostly focused on creating full-length albums, but I wanted to experiment with making a shorter release that still felt artistically complete and took the listener on a coherent journey. These were all songs that felt somehow set apart and meant for each other as a cohesive project.”
