スウェーデン/マルメ拠点のシューゲイズ・ドリームポップバンド Echo Ladiesが、9/8にRama Lama Records・Gazehop Recordsからリリースするニューアルバム『Lilies』より、先行シングル 'Coming Home'のMVを公開！
ディレクターは Paul Botwid。
Echo Ladiesは Matilda Bogren, Mattis Andersson, Joar Andersénの3人組。
学生時代の友人同士で2014年に結成。2018年のデビューアルバム『Pink Noise』は、Rough Tradeの Album of the Monthを獲得し、Albums of the Yearにランクインしてます。
前作に続いてレコーディング・マスタリングは Joakim Lindberg (Fews, Hater)が担当。
ノイジーでやかましいギターとキャッチーなメロディがお手本のようなバランスです。
“‘This song is heavily inspired by two of our favourite bands, A Place To Bury Strangers and The Jesus & Mary Chain. Our aim was to make the song feel like a big wave of noise, feedback and guitars that hits you in the face. Can’t remember how many layers of fuzzed and distorted guitars are on this track, but it’s maaany.”
