イングランド・ミッドランズ拠点のポストパンクバンド Doloursが、8/13にFear and Loathing in the Westからリリースしたニューシングル 'I Am the Dog'のMVを公開！
今年3月に初ライブ、6月にデビュー曲で今回が2曲目。調子良さそう。
“I Am the Dog is about how your identity can be shaped by someone else's words, power or influence, and the gradual acceptance of a degraded identity. It's about becoming an unwanted reflection of someone else's desires, until you no longer recognise where they end and you begin.”
'I Am the Dog'は、他人の言葉や権力、影響によって自分のアイデンティティが形作られていくこと、そして徐々に自らの貶められたアイデンティティを受け入れていくことについて歌っています。他人が望むものを映し出す、望まれざる鏡のような存在へと変わっていき、やがて相手と自分との境界がどこにあるのかさえ分からなくなっていく、そんな物語です。
