カナダ/ビクトリア拠点のフォークポップアーティスト Christopher Atkinsが、11/24にDivine Bovine Recordsからリリースしたニューシングル 'Keep Trying'のMVを公開！
制作は John Andrews, Christopher Atkins。
レコーディングは Mother Sunの Emilio Pagnottaが所有するスタジオ Holy Cow Studioで行われ、演奏は Alexander Ward, James Bings, Stefan Thordarsonが参加。
軽快なポップスからやんわりサイケゾーンへ突入する流れがめっちゃ好き。ローカルコミュニティの繋がりを大切にするMother Sunの人脈を知って、どんどん好きな曲が増えていくのが嬉しい。
“‘Keep Trying’ was sort of a welcomed surprise from the recording sessions at Holy Cow. It started as an old demo with the placeholder name Keep, which I never really intended on recording until we found ourselves ahead of schedule while tracking drums with James. James, Emilio, and I workshopped a structure and had James track the drums as a way to stay productive. Aside from a few recycled lines from the old demo, most of the lyrics and melodies were written at the studio, and in a fast food parking lot during one of the cold mornings before the vocals session.” - Christopher Atkins
