Bureau De Change、'The Gammons Lament'を公開

イングランド/バース拠点のオルタナティヴロックバンド Bureau De Changeが、6/25にAlcopop!からリリースしたニューシングル 'The Gammons Lament'のMVを公開！

ディレクターは Laura Martin。

Bureau De Changeは、Lambrini Girlsの元ボーカリスト Flora Kimberleyを中心に結成し、Will, Connor, Louisを加えた4人組。

2024年にデビューEP『Are You Flirting With Me?』を発表し、これまでに PINS, Dreamnails, Loose Articles, Mini Skirt, Knivesらと共演してます。

'The Gammons Lament'は来年発売予定のデビューアルバム『Tough Day Buffet』収録曲。

プロデュースは Dominic Bailey-Clay (Knives)、マスタリングは Stephen Kerrison (DITZ, Petbrick, LIFE)が担当。

これはプロテストソングであり、行動を促すための呼びかけです。物事の本質を見極め、下ではなく上を見ようというメッセージを込めています歌詞には、悲嘆や哀しみ、そして権力者にとって自分がただの"エサ"でしかないという気づきが溢れ出ています。今の政治状況では、エサになることを受け入れてしまいがちで、すべての恐怖に飲み込まれそうになる。でもこの曲は噛み返すことについて歌っています。なぜなら、彼らは少数派であり、私たちは多数派なのですから。— Flora Kimberley
