“Power Drill was conceived on iPhone-Garage Band while travelling through Italy in April 22’. Around this time I’d decided that using Atonality & Dissonance in my songs felt like a cop out way of making something arresting. Power Drill is a first attempt at trying to make something abrasive while keeping melody & tonality intact, which doesn’t come so naturally to me.”
'Power Drill'は、22年4月にイタリアを旅行中にiPhoneのGarage Bandで生まれた。この頃、私は自分の曲に無調性と不協和音を使うのは、人を惹きつけるものを作るための対処療法的な方法だと感じていた。メロディと調性を保ちながら、何か擦れるようなものを作ろうとした最初の試みである。
