オーストリア/ウィーン拠点のポストパンクアーティスト BEAKSが、5/30にsumoclicからリリースしたニューシングル 'Dirty Girls'を公開！
BEAKSはミュージシャン・モデル Anna Francescaによるソロプロジェクト。
昨年デビューEP『Crosswalk』を発表し、これからデビューアルバムを出す予定です。
Golden Vesselと akureiによるレーベル sumoclicはジャンル以外のカラーやムードすらもリリースごとに違うから面白いですね。
“Sometimes days feel like I’m sleepwalking with open eyes. The world becomes like a bluetooth device scanning and scanning into nothing. Lots of times Ive tried to describe the barrier between the world and myself, it was always just so hard to put it in words.”
時々、目を開けたまま夢遊病のように感じる日がある。世界はまるでBluetoothデバイスのように、スキャンしてスキャンして、何もない世界になっていく。世界と自分との間の障壁を表現しようとしたことは何度もあるが、言葉にするのはいつもとても難しい。
