イタリア/ペーザロ出身のシューゲイザーバンド Be Forestが、12/13にWe Were Never Being Boringからリリースしたニューシングル 'Bengala'を公開！
Be ForestはCostanza Delle Rose, Nicola Lampredi, Erica Terenziの3人組。2011年発表の傑作デビューアルバム『Cold.』以来、ゴシックな雰囲気を纏ったシューゲイズサウンドで絶大な人気を誇るバンドです。夜の深い闇の中へ放り込まれるけど不思議と恐怖感はなく、むしろ心地よさを感じさせる。そんな音楽です。
このシングルは2/8にリリースされる5年振りのニューアルバム『Knocturne』の先行曲で、ミックス・マスタリングは Steve Scanu, Josh Bonati (Mac DeMarco, Zola Jesus, David Lynch)が手がけてます。
"Bengala is the spotlight that lights up the stage after the curtains open; a celestial body which at the moment of its impact allows us to glimpse our surroundings -- it's the brightest point, the north of the compass. This is, though, only ONE of the coordinates of Knocturne. Perhaps the most reassuring."
