カナダ/モントリオール拠点のインディーポップアーティスト Ballsyが、3/25にリリースしたニューシングル 'Easy'を公開！
Ballsyは、インディーバンド Caveboyのメンバー Isabelle Banosによるソロプロジェクト。
昨年にデビューEP『Bisou』を発表し、JUNOfest, NXNE, Pop Montrealなどのフェスに出演。
自身の楽曲は『マダム・ウェブ』『オレンジ・イズ・ニュー・ブラック』などTVドラマ・映画・CMで使用されており、印税の一部を地球に分配する環境チャリティ団体 EarthPercent (共同設立はBrian Eno)に参加してます。また、音楽業界における男女平等を提唱する運動 Keychangeのイノベーターに認定されています。
来週から始まる日本ツアーに先駆けて発表された新曲。00's風味溢れる疾走感とキャッチーなメロディーが素晴らしい。
前述の活動以外にも、自身のスタジオを運営したり、LANDRのYouTubeチャンネルで情報発信したり、全力であらゆる角度から音楽に取り組んでいて尊敬します。

I wrote this thinking I was one of these people. But now I feel like in some ways I’m both of them.” “The music itself also swings back and forth between sweet and soft to suddenly intense and heavy. I wanted to capture the chaotic ups and downs of an emotional rollercoaster.”
