カリフォルニア州サンディエゴ拠点のオルタナティヴロックバンド Halcyon Clubが、6/26にGarMore Recordsからリリースしたニューシングル 'Coming Home'を公開！
5年振りの新曲で、8月発売予定のニューアルバム収録曲。
森の中のキャビンに1週間こもり、楽曲制作からレコーディングまでを完結させたという作品。中盤でめっちゃ良い演奏してて、エモのようなメタルのようなドラムの熱量がすごいです。
“This song is about the feeling of being underwater from the pressures of life, relationships, work, and so on - all the while trying to stay afloat. Sometimes even the water feels "just fine this time of year" you might find yourself not being able to stay float. Yet we manage to swim on and find a way home.”
この曲は、人生、人間関係、仕事などからくるプレッシャーによって水中に沈み込みそうになりながらも、なんとか水面に留まろうとする感覚を歌っています。時には、その水さえも「この時期なら悪くない」と感じられ、浮かび上がれなくなることもあるかもしれません。それでも私たちは泳ぎ続け、家路を見つけ出そうとします。
