MEGGO、'just my luck'を公開

カナダ/モントリオール拠点のバンド FLEECEのギター・ボーカルとしても知られる Megan Ennenbergによるソロプロジェクト MEGGOが、6/10にMayhem Productionsからリリースしたニューシングル 'just my luck'を公開！

7/17発売のEP『eavesdropper ;; the crash』収録曲で、共同プロデュースは Austin Tufts, Jameson Danielが担当。

『eavesdropper』シリーズとして三部作を出すことが予定されており、今回が2作目。

“There’s a part of me that needs to yell and scream. I don’t call on her that often, but she’s in there! ‘just my luck’ is what comes from that inevitable explosion. It’s about letting go of grudges and making room inside yourself for forgiveness. It acknowledges where there is pain, looks right at it, and lays it bare so that it no longer needs to be carried. What’s left is compassion and peace in its wake.”

私の中には、叫びたい、わめき散らしたいという衝動があります。普段はあまり呼び起こさないけれど、確かにそこにいるんです！'just my luck'は、そんな避けられない爆発から生まれる曲です。この曲は、恨みを手放し、心の中に許しのためのスペースを作ることを歌っています。痛みがあることを認め、真正面から見つめ、それをさらけ出すことで、もう抱え込む必要がなくなるのです。そして、その後に残るのは、思いやりと平和です。
