アテネ/ギリシャ出身のシューゲイザーバンド Youth Valleyが、3/13にリリースしたニューシングル 'cerberus'のMVを公開！
制作は Vasilis Kehagias。
Youth Valleyは2019年結成された Joseph, Dean, Georgeによる3人組。
2020年にデビューEP、2023年にデビューアルバム『Lullabies For Adults』を発表し、Athens Release Festival, Syd Sessions, Death Disco Open Air Festivalなどに出演してます。
'cerberus'は近日発売予定のニューアルバム『as passive aggressive as it gets』収録曲。
ファジーな音の壁にうっすらポストパンク風味もあって好きな質感です。
“This song is an honest confession of a broken person trying to find forgiveness in a journey of mistakes and cruelty caused by anger. - I dare only dream of it, but even dreaming feels horrifying. I picture a 3 headed guardian caring for me.I am part of it.I feel the warmth of a light that I cannot reach.”
この曲は、怒りによって引き起こされた過ちと残酷さの旅の中で、許しを求めようとする傷ついた人間の正直な告白です。夢に見るしかないけれど、夢を見ることさえ恐ろしい。三つの頭を持つ守護者が私を守ってくれる姿を想像します。私はその一部。手の届かない光の温もりを感じます。
