制作は Nalan, Sander Houtkruijer。
以前は slimgirl fatで知られ、トリオ Gaddafi Galsのメンバーでもあるミュージシャン Nalan Karacagilによる名義。
'I Like You'は4/15発売のセカンドアルバム『2009』収録曲。
記憶、ノスタルジア、感情の歪みによって形作られた作品。デジカメのアーカイブ、個人的な回想、そして過去を振り返ることで湧き上がる感情から紡ぎ出された架空の年とのこと。
“"I Like you” is the cousin of “crush”. “Crush” is the little sister of “love”. Jokes aside, everyone knows how the first days of spring can feel like. It’s 6 a.m. in the morning, and you wake up in another bed. The night before, you ran into a stranger in your favorite bar on your very favorite day of the week. ‘I Like You’ comes as the jaunty moment of falling for someone.”
