共同作曲・プロデュースは Adrian Sandberg (Marbles)。

シューゲイズ・ドリームポップの定番レーベル Spirit Goth所属の伝統サウンド。定食のような安心感があります。

“’It’s Almost Like You’re Here’ is a song about being on the edge of a relationship with someone where you feel like things could be really great, but the one you're dating is too scared to take the leap and give it a shot. So, it’s a song written out of frustration in some sense. It’s kind of like, ‘Why are you making this so complicated?’ I guess it’s an almost universal experience for everyone who has ever found themself in a situationship. From the outside, there is no reason for all the uncertainty, but for some reason—maybe fear of getting too close or losing them after a bit—it’s so difficult to take the leap and lean into love.”

'It’s Almost Like You’re Here'は、関係がうまくいくかもしれないのに、相手が怖がって一歩を踏み出せない状況を描いた曲です。ある意味、フラストレーションから生まれた楽曲で、「なんでこんなに複雑にするの？」という気持ちが込められています。いわゆる "シチュエーションシップ"に陥ったことがある人なら、誰もが共感できる普遍的な経験だと思います。客観的に見れば、不安になる理由なんてないのに、なぜか踏み込むのが怖い—もしかしたら、距離が近くなりすぎたり、いずれ失うことを恐れているのかもしれません。でも、愛に身を委ねることがこんなにも難しいのです。
