カリフォルニア州ロサンゼルス拠点のシンガーソングライター・プロデューサー John Errolが、5/28にFlexible Distributionからリリースするデビューアルバム『Inferno』より、'Unbelievable'のMVを公開！

John Errolは、3年前に取り上げ今作にも収録されている'Dead Man Walking'の頃から現在にいたるまで奇妙で歪なポップスを作り続けている才人です。
今回の'Unbelievable'はNINとBritney Spearsを並列で扱うような混沌としたポップス。この音に、「レコード契約のために魂を悪魔に売るロックバンド」という定番ネタとそれに似た自身の経験を元に作ったビデオを付ける毒まみれの感覚が素晴らしいですね。曲としては'Dead Man Walking'のほうが好きだけど、トータルの気味悪さでこっちが圧勝。

MVについて
“It’s loosely a metaphor for the music industry. I’ve always loved the motif of a rock band selling their souls to the devil for a record contract. In a lot of ways, my brushes with the industry (you know who you are) have felt just like that. So I figured why not bring that to life in a literal way? The idea was that as the band gets deeper into the satanic side of things, the greater and more ridiculous their performance gets.”
