ネオ・ソウルバンド Yakul、'In The Air'を公開

イングランド/ブライトン拠点のインディーバンド Yakulが、9/4にからリリースしたニューシングル 'In The Air'を公開！

Yakulは James Berkeley, Tom Caldwell Nichols, Sam Hughes, Leo Uttonの4人組。これまでに Love SupremeやOn Blackheathといったフェスに出演し、Joel Culpepper, RC and the Gritzのサポートを務めてます。

新曲 'In The Air'のミックスは Jordan Rakeiのバンドのドラマー Jim Macraeが担当。スムースなメロディとシュッとした演奏に乗ってこりゃ気持ちいいぜ〜ブリッジも良い落ち感あるな〜で、2:50以降から徐々にアグレッシブな違和感が広がっていく様に笑みがこぼれました。

This song was born from the conflict of meeting someone new and trying to balance your time between them and writing. Inevitably you lose some focus and time, but is that always bad? Sometimes it can be inspiring. It’s the quality of the artistic process, not the quantity of time. Taking a step back can sometimes give you important insight into the way you work.
