イングランド/ロンドン拠点の Chloe Little, James Taylorによるドリームポップバンド Wings of Desireが、2/8にWMD Recordingsからリリースしたニューシングル 'Perfect World'のMVを公開！
INHEAVENの元メンバーによるバンドという肩書がすでに不必要なくらいに活躍していて、1月末から行われたブルックリンのナイスなバンド Nation of Languageのツアーにオープニングアクトとして参加してます。
前回の記事でヴィム・ヴェンダースやマイク・フィギスの話題を出しましたが、音楽と映像の双方向で構築する世界観がちょうど自分の好きな要素が含まれていて最高ですね。
“Perfect World is about everything around you falling apart so that something even better can form in its place. Out with the old and in with the new as they say. It's a melancholy sweetness against a backdrop of industrial optimism.”
