Vitesse X、'Memori'のMVを公開

ニューヨーク拠点のプロデューサー Vitesse Xが、12/3にMusic Websiteからリリースしたニューシングル 'Memori'のMVを公開！

制作は Jordan Stern, Chris Burden。

昨年の絶賛されたセカンドアルバム『This Infinite』以来の新曲。

ライブ時のドラムに death's dynamic shroudが参加してるのめっちゃいいなって思ってたけど、メンタル的には結構沈んでたみたいで、ばっちり回帰してくれて良かったです。再生と啓示。

“Prior to writing this song, I spent about a year climbing out of a deep depression by listening to near-death experience stories. I began seeing parallels everywhere. A truth that permeated through so many philosophies and religions. I went from being a staunch materialist to having an unwavering faith in the afterlife - oneness - source. When I sat down to write the lyrics, death seemed to be all around - an old friend, a grandparent, David Lynch. The day after Lynch passed, I joined a group meditation through his organization, and felt a sense that the wall between this reality and the one beyond was thinning, on a collective level. What once filled me terror began shifting into awe. My lyrics are inspired by Lynch’s reflections on transcendence and the ocean of consciousness. At a time of so much division. I think it’s a message we could all use right now.”

この曲を書く前、私は約1年間、臨死体験談を聴いて深い鬱状態から抜け出そうと努力した。そして、あらゆるところに共通点を見出すようになった。それは、多くの哲学や宗教に浸透している真実だった。私は、頑固な唯物論者から、死後の世界、つまりワンネスという源泉への揺るぎない信仰を持つようになった。歌詞を書き始めた時、死が至る所に迫っているように感じました。旧友、祖父母、そしてデヴィッド・リンチ。リンチが亡くなった翌日、彼の団体のグループ瞑想に参加したのですが、この世とあの世を隔てる壁が、集団レベルで薄くなっていくのを感じました。かつて私を恐怖で満たしていたものが、畏敬の念へと変わり始めました。私の歌詞は、リンチが超越と意識の海について語った考察にインスピレーションを受けています。これほど多くの分断が蔓延している時代に、まさに今、私たち全員が必要としているメッセージだと思います。
