Velvet Volume、'I wish you to rest in love'を公開

デンマーク拠点のインディーロックバンド Velvet Volumeが、12/6にリリースしたニューシングル『Rest in Love』より、'I wish you to rest in love'を公開！

2013年結成の三姉妹バンドによる2022年発表のアルバム『Nest』以来の新曲で、活動自体も2年以上振りに再開したようです。

“Out of love for the haunted, in a prayer for hope and healing, we have written 'I Wish You to rest in Love' together. A tale of darkness, so secret and deep that you almost cannot talk about it or touch it. About stories that cannot be remembered and told. The past year has been enormously dark, and has taken us to places where we constantly carry the question of how to bear the darkness more caring and easily. Singing about the darkness together has felt very meaningful and touched us deeply. That's why we see it as one of our best releases.”

呪われたものへの愛から、希望と癒しへの祈りから、私たちは一緒に'I wish you to rest in love'を書いた。話すことも触れることもできないほど秘密で深い闇の物語。思い出すことも語ることもできない物語について。この1年は非常に暗い年であり、私たちは常に、どうすればより思いやりを持って簡単に暗闇に耐えられるかという問いを抱えた場所に連れて行かれた。暗闇について一緒に歌うことは、とても意義深く感じられ、私たちの心に深く響いた。だから、この作品は私たちのベスト・リリースのひとつだと思う。
