カナダ/トロント拠点のオルタナティヴロックアーティスト Tropigloomが、10/2にリリースしたニューシングル 'Disappear'を公開！
Tropigloomはミュージシャン Andrew Royによるソロプロジェクト。
セッションミュージシャンとしても活動しており、Hannah Georgas, Etiquette, Praises, Beliefs, Off The International Radarなどに参加してます。
'Disappear'は11/9発売のEP『Everything Now But In Reverse』収録曲。
内省的なムードから0:58でふわっと雰囲気が変わるところがかっこいい。
““Disappear” is a raw reflection on masking pain with substances, only to later face the sobering realization of how deep the spiral has gone. It captures the tension between escape and regret, and the haunting fear that it might be too late to turn back.”
'Disappear'は、薬物で一時的に苦痛を忘れようとするも、やがてその悪循環がどれほど深刻なものだったかを痛感する、率直な自省の歌です。逃避と後悔の葛藤、そしてもう後戻りできないのではないかという恐怖心を、ありのままに表現しています。
