イングランド/ブライトン拠点のフォークロックバンド Thrillhouseが、4/26にSpirit Of Spike Islandからリリースしたニューシングル 'Smile'を公開！
Afflecks Palace, Pastelを擁する Spirit Of Spike Islandと契約して初の新曲。EPの発売も予定されてます。
今までは The War On Drugsから Bruce Springsteenまで感じさせるロック寄りのアプローチがメインだったように思いますが、今回はかなりフォーク寄りでこっちも良い感じ。
“I often overthink lyrics and spend way too long making sure they sound ‘cool’ and ‘clever’. I just wanted to write a song that tells someone you’re there for them in the simplest possibly way. Like you would in real life. Just without it coming across as super cheesy... That was the tricky part.” - Sam Baldwin
