Terrible Sons、'Hold Your Light High'のMVを公開

ニュージーランド/クライストチャーチ拠点のインディーフォークデュオ Terrible Sonsが、1/6にNettwerkからリリースしたニューシングル 'Hold Your Light High'のMVを公開！

Terrible Sonsは Matt Barus, Lauren Barusの夫婦デュオ。親密で牧歌的な暖かさを感じさせる音楽をたくさん作ってます。

2021年にリリースした2つのEP『Mass』『Alabaster Mountain』が素晴らしく、それぞれ 'What a Friend', 'Your Story'を取り上げたんですけど、今回の新曲も相変わらず最高です。

“This song began after reading Reginald Dwayne Bett’s book of poetry called "Felon", and thinking of our broken prison systems; including here in New Zealand where Maori make up 52.7 percent of the prison population despite only making up 15 percent of the population of the country. I tried to imagine if I was a felon where my hope would go. Prison serves a purpose, but it doesn't deal with the issues, it just pushes them down.”
