1/26発売のデビューアルバム『The Pilgrim, Their God and the King of My Decrepit Mountain』収録曲。
“Written during lockdown, “My God” intends to promote persistence to carry on even when the world feels rotten. Whilst it highlights issues in the world such as commercialism, natural & man-made disasters it isn’t intended to be a criticism of religion but more so an open conversation about faith - whatever that may be for an individual. At the end of the day, we all have something we believe in to help us push through.”
ロックダウン中に書かれたこの'My God'は、世界が腐りかけているように感じても、それでも生き続けようとする執念を促すことを意図している。商業主義、自然災害、人災など、世の中の問題を浮き彫りにしているが、宗教批判を意図しているのではなく、信仰についてのオープンな会話を意図している。結局のところ、私たちは皆、何かを信じて突き進んでいるのだ。
