イングランド/ロンドン拠点のインディーロックバンド Superdaysが、10/25にリリースしたニューシングル 'We Could Be So Happy'を公開！
Superdaysは Cal, Joe, Merlon, Harry, Louis, Harveyの6人組。
同じ町で育ち、同じ学校に通った友達同士で2023年に結成し、デビューシングル 'So Many Ways'を発表。これまでに The Lounge Society, The Early Swerveなどのサポートを務めてます。
今回で4枚目。素早く耳を掴むギターリフときらびやかなシンセ、伸びのあるボーカルが魅力的です。
“The song is an upbeat slice of pop melancholy about being young and falling in love at the drop at a hat, how your mind races to what could be, but your thoughts not necessarily being reciprocated. It’s about taking a chance and seeing how great things could be. A tale of unrequited love with an air of unfulfilled optimism.”
この曲はポップでメランコリーなアップビートな曲で、若い頃、ふとした瞬間に恋に落ち、あり得るかもしれないことに心を躍らせるが、その思いは必ずしも報われないということを歌っている。この曲は、チャンスをつかみ、物事がいかに素晴らしいものになり得るかを見ることについて歌っている。叶わぬ楽観主義に満ちた片思いの物語。
