カナダ/ウィニペグ拠点の Courtney Carmichael, Nikki St.Pierreによるベッドルームポップバンド sundayclubが、9/17にPaper Bag Recordsからリリースしたニューシングル 'Halloween Mask'のMVを公開！
10/31発売のEP『Bannatyne』収録曲。
前回よりも内省的で霧深い。
6月発表のデビューシングルかつEPのタイトル曲 'Bannatyne'も合わせてどうぞ。
“Halloween Mask is a storyline weaving multiple narratives across different points in time, unveiling a journey of love and self-discovery through the imagined lens of another; trying to decipher whether what you’re feeling is a need to be with someone or be them entirely. More than a love song, Halloween Mask twists sadness, vulnerability, admiration, and reassurance into one.”
'Halloween Mask'は、様々な時点を跨ぐ複数の物語を織り交ぜたストーリーラインで、想像上の他者のレンズを通して愛と自己発見の旅を描き出します。自分が感じているのは、誰かと一緒にいたいという欲求なのか、それとも完全にその人自身になりたいという欲求なのか、読み解こうとする試みです。単なるラブソングではない'Halloween Mask'は、悲しみ、脆さ、憧れ、そして安心感を一つにまとめ上げています。
