ワシントンD.C.拠点のオルタナティヴロックアーティスト Stilts & Avocetsが、Stilts & Avocetsが、2/23にリリースしたニューシングル 'Extra Mile'を公開！

詳細不明のニューカマー。昨年からリリースを始め、今回が6曲目。微睡みの中の、夢か現か曖昧な状態のあの感じがあって好きです。

“Extra Mile explores feelings of inadequacy that have sprung up after a recent break up. I had to end things since I couldn't be what the other person needed after months of trying. Accepting that I'm not the one that can go the extra mile in the way this person needs has inflicted a uniquely evil kind of grief, but makes a good song!”

'Extra Mile'は、最近の別れの後に芽生えた自分の至らなさの感情を描いています。何か月も努力しましたが、相手が必要としている存在にはなれなかったため、私は関係を終わらせなければなりませんでした。この人が求めるかたちでさらに踏み込むことができるのは私ではないと受け入れることは、独特で残酷な種類の悲しみをもたらしましたが、良い曲にはなりました。
