Spirit of the Bear、'Read My Mind'を公開

オハイオ州コロンバス拠点のインディーポップバンド Spirit of the Bearが、8/22にリリースしたニューシングル 'Read My Mind'を公開！

Spirit of the Bearは James Harker, Danny Svenson, Ethan Schwendeman, Jamie Vitullo, Mike Perorazioの5人組。

高校時代に結成し、これまでに Judah and the Lion, Ra Ra Riot, Smallpools, Robert DeLongらと共演してます。

キーボードx2の編成が興味深いバンドです。

“This song is very personal to all of us, and has been a strong reminder of peace and beauty in life, even through some of the toughest times. The past couple of years our band has gone through so much. Illness, losing friends and family, not being able to perform and the general state of the world. Even through it all, we want to come back with a mindset that all will be better than ever and we have no choice but to make something positive out of the negative.”

この曲は私たち全員にとってとても個人的なものであり、どんなにつらい時期でも人生の中にある平和や美しさを強く思い出させてくれる存在でした。ここ数年、私たちのバンドは本当に多くのことを経験してきました。病気や、大切な友人や家族を失ったこと、演奏ができなかったこと、そして世界全体の状況。そのすべてを経てもなお、これからは以前よりも良くなるという気持ちを持って、マイナスをプラスに変えていくしかないのだと思っています。
