So, Reverie、'Sentimentality'のMVを公開

イングランド/リヴァプール拠点のジャングルポップバンド So, Reverieが、4/4にリリースしたニューシングル 'Sentimentality'のMVを公開！

制作は Harry Harper。

So, Reverieは Andy Power, Cain Garciaの2人組。元Avalynのメンバーによるバンドです。

昨年10月にデビューシングル 'Decaying'を発表し、これまでに Bleach Lab, Shelf Lives, Topographiesのサポートを務めてます。

オールドスクールなジャングルポップ・マナーに沿った輝かしい一曲。

“Sentimentality is an extremely personal song to me that is very close to my heart. I instrumentally wanted to create a melancholic and upbeat song with the guitars which inspired me to write the lyrics in the way in which I did. It’s a sad song which I guess you 3could say is about the realisation that you have suddenly lost someone you loved. The song was very floaty and melancholic until Cain wrote the drum beat you hear on the song which really gives it that upbeat feel it needed giving it that depth which took the song to a whole other level” -Andy Power

'Sentimentality'は、私にとって非常に個人的な曲で、胸に迫るものがある。楽器的には、ギターでメランコリックでアップビートな曲を作りたかったので、このような歌詞を書くことになった。この曲は悲しい曲で、突然愛する人を失ったという現実を歌っていると言えると思う。この曲はとても浮遊感のあるメランコリックな曲だったのだが、カインがドラム・ビートを書くことによってアップビートな雰囲気が加わり、曲に深みが出て、まったく別の次元の曲になったんだ。- Andy Power
