オレゴン州ポートランド拠点のオルタナティヴロックバンド Simple Shapesが、10/3にRue Defenseからリリースしたデビューアルバム『Sundial』より、'I've Never Learned a Lesson'を公開！
Simple Shapesは Pete Bensen (Bug Seance, Nonbinary Girlfriend), Jeremiah Larsen (Myriads, New Here)によって2019年に結成されたバンド。
Archers of Loaf, Dinosaur Jr, MJ Lendermanといったバンドからインスピレーションを得て、これまでに200以上のライブ、2度の全国ツアーも行なってます。
ゴツゴツしたサウンドで感情をぶつける割には、かなりキャッチーなメロディー満載で好きな作品でした。全体のムードとしては00'sっぽいかな。

バラ色のレンズを通して見た過去は、必ずしも戻りたい場所ではないかもしれません。たとえ戻りたいと思ったとしても、同じではないかもしれません。
