イングランド/リヴァプール拠点のオルタナティヴロックアクト Pet Snakeが、2/22にDance To The Radioからリリースしたニューシングル 'Coffee'のMVを公開！
ディレクターは Evelyn Halls, Emily Lomas。
Pet Snakeは、インディーロックバンド Clean Cut Kidのメンバーでソングライター Evelyn Hallsによるソロプロジェクト。
昨年6月にデビューシングルを発表したばかりですが、すでに This Is The Kit, Eli Smart, Michael Head, CJ Panditと共演してます。
'Coffee'は5/12発売のEP『Bathwater』収録曲。ザクザクしたギターとエモーショナルなメロディが魅力的です。
“I wrote this song about someone who manipulated their way into my life and then left in the cruelest of ways. When I’d think about them after things ended, I didn’t wish them any harm, or hurt- I just really hoped they were on their own and their manipulative behaviour had failed to snare anyone else. I wanted them to be lonely more than anything else. It’s an anthem for anyone who has felt like they’ve been tricked into intimacy and left feeling small and disposable. The way the track switches to this heavy, distorted and layered “mess” in the choruses and especially the build up at the end was heavily influenced by Mitski “Your Best American Girl”.” - Pet Snake
