スコットランド拠点のインディーロックバンド Parliamoが、6/17にModern Skyからリリースしたニューシングル 'Paul & Barry'のMVを公開！
ディレクターは Bonnie MacRae。
Parliamoは Jack Dailly, Finn Freeburn Morrison, Fraser Nicholson, Mairi Sutherland, Calum Simpson, Andrew Haxtonの6人組。
'Paul & Barry'は年内発売予定のEP『The Parliamo Manifesto』収録曲。Dennis Wilson 'Dreamer'を大胆にサンプリングした中毒性の高いパフォーマンスです。The Farm, Primal Scream, The Beta Band辺りが頭によぎったな。
“The lyrics provide a tongue-in-cheek take on romance, with the chuckle brothers’ method of moving large objects used as metaphor for the awkward beauty of young love. We sped up the Dennis Wilson sample to provide the bouncy, baggy backdrop which drives the track along, whilst trying to merge the distinctive warmth of the 70’s recording sound with the more crisp, modern cowbells and 808s”
