Night Tapes、'television'のリリックビデオを公開

イングランド/ロンドン拠点のドリームポップバンド Night Tapesが、2/14にNettwerkからリリースしたニューシングル 'television'のリリックビデオを公開！

L’impératiceとのUSツアーを終えた絶好調バンド。デビューからずっと上昇気流に乗っていて、今年はどこまでいけるか成り上がりっぷりを見ているのが楽しい3人組です。

“I was sitting in the park , looking into a portal in my hands and worrying about the world. When I looked up I could see that there were lots of people in the park who, like me, had come to enjoy the park. Everywhere I looked - they were in the portals in their hands. Some were diving head first, some kept good posture & I thought to myself that at least singing with good technique requires good posture so hopefully when I’m 80, my body would still be somewhat straight up when I’m going somewhere. I also thought that this is not how parks are meant to work. So I wrote down the first sentence of this song into the useful portal in my hands to use it later.”

私は公園に座り、手の中のポータルを覗き込みながら、世界のことを心配していました。ふと顔を上げると、公園には私と同じように公園を楽しみに来た人々がたくさんいました。しかし、どこを見渡しても、彼らは皆、手の中のポータルに夢中になっていました。頭から飛び込む人もいれば、姿勢を保っている人もいて、少なくとも良い発声には良い姿勢が必要だから、80歳になったときには、移動するときに少しでも体が真っすぐであればいいな、と思いました。同時に、これが本来の公園の在り方ではないとも感じました。そこで、この曲の最初の一文を、後で使うために手の中の便利なポータルに書き留めました。
