イングランド/ロンドン拠点のインディーバンド Night Flightが、6/22にリリースしたニューシングル 'God Knows'を公開！
Night Flightは Samuel Holmes, Harry Phillips, Nick Holbeck, Dan Webb, Andy Leishmanの5人組。バンドでいえば Fleet Foxes, My Morning Jacket、SSWでいえば Kevin Morby, Andy Shaufに通ずる「古い」「新しい」の折衷具合がとても素敵な音楽。
特に後半の“God knows what the hell I’m supposed to do / God knows what I'm trying to prove”のくだり以降、ギターとコーラスにしっかり支えられながらせり上がっていく歌声は100点です。
7/20にはEP『Carousel』をリリース予定です。
