おいおい最高かよ！（乗り遅れた）
EP『Where Will We Go』(2014)で緩やかに時代の空気を掴んだソウルシンガー Nick Hakimが、5/19にATOからデビューアルバム『Green Twins』をリリース！
'Bet She Looks Like You'が公開されました。前述のEPはパート1・パート2に分かれていて、その時期にはもう原型ができていた楽曲です。Paste Magazineで聞けます。
個人的に気になったのがアートワーク。これ、ソッチが好きな方にはすぐわかる Keith Rankin (Giant Claw, Orange Milk Records)が手がけているんですよね。そことここがビジュアルで繋がるのって非常に面白いです。

“We wanted to imagine what it would have sounded like if RZA had produced a Portishead album. We experimented with engineering techniques from Phil Spector and Al Green’s Back Up Train, drum programming from RZA and Outkast, and were listening to a lot of The Impressions, John Lennon, Wu-Tang, Madlib, and Screaming Jay Hawkins.”
