イスラエル/テルアビブ拠点のドリームポップアーティスト Monadが、4/9にリリースしたニューシングル 'I See You feat. Ariel Pedatzur'のビジュアライザーを公開！

Monadはアーティスト・プロデューサーの Eshchar Nachmanyによるソロプロジェクト。
60'sジャングルポップ、90'sシューゲイザー、00'sエレクトロニカの影響をブレンドした独自のインディーポップを展開し、これまでに Dot To Dot, Liverpool Sound Cityなどのフェスに出演し、UKを中心にツアーを行なってます。
自身の音楽を「機械がちょうどいいタイミングで故障した時の音」と表現するところが信頼できるグッドミュージシャン。やっぱり突っ込んで飽和した音にワクワクするもんだし。
Bandcampでの収益は、イスラエルとパレスチナにおける平和・平等・社会正義のために活動するユダヤ人とパレスチナ人による最大規模の草の根団体・社会運動「Standing Together」へすべて寄付されます。
“On 'I See You' I wanted to explore that very limited time when you know you’re about to lose something but you’re still barely holding onto it,” “The song was written directly after my partner was diagnosed with cancer, and right before she started her treatment. It was a period where we both had strange, recurring dreams of drowning and being out in the ocean. It was a rough time of coming to terms with the loss of the life we knew before and accepting that a different, scary and unexpected part of it was starting.”
