2/28発売のニューアルバム『We Always Had Tomorrow』収録曲。
2010年前後のある特定のムードを象徴した傑作デビューアルバム『Illumination』から15年、前作から9年振りのフルレングスです。
“1960's soul has always hit me deeply, there's always been a depth and nuance that I felt other genres I’ve come to love didn't always reach. The genre was a big influence in the early days of this album as I was digging deeper through records finding more rare soul records. Consequently we played around with a ton of potential soul samples on this record, like the Errol Stubbs sample used on “Together”, but on this particular record we decided to build out our own "sample" based on some common soul chord movements. We wanted the song to sound playful, almost like a distilled homage to the era flipped into something modern. It’s quite different to our previous music but I think you can hear us in the emotion and sounds. Tim Ayre and I wrote the vocal idea in Sydney and it was performed by Michael Harding.”
