イングランド/ブライトン拠点のサイケデリックフォークアーティスト Maximilianが、1/30にMango Wax Recordsからリリースしたニューシングル 'Red Wine'を公開！
Maximilianは、フランスとイギリスの間にあるチャンネル諸島のジャージー島出身のシンガーソングライター Maximilian Feighanによる名義。
コラボレーターとして Flip Top Head, Hutch, Porchlight, Ellis-D, Martha Eveに携わり、Naima Bock, Junior Brotherのサポートを務めてます。
'Red Wine'は3/28発売のデビューアルバム収録曲。
つい先日紹介した Lando Manningで書きましたが、Mango Waxは要注目です。
“I wrote this song very quickly, about 4 years ago. It’s about a fleeting relationship that sparks, crashes and burns. The long-lasting return of first love. Self destructive but beautiful.”
この曲は4年ほど前にすぐに書いたんだ。この曲は火花を散らし、衝突し、燃え尽きる、はかない関係について歌っている。長く続く初恋の復活。自己破壊的だが美しい。
