カナダ/トロント拠点のソングライター・プロデューサー・マルチインストゥルメンタリスト Matthew Cookeによる名義 Mawzyが、4/17にリリースしたデビューアルバム『Long View』より、'Start Again'のMVを公開！
ディレクターは Sameer Cash。
共同プロデュースは Thom D’Arcy (Sheepdogs, Whitehorse)が務め、ボーカルで Kirty (Fast Romantics)が参加してます。
アルバム全体の軽やかに聴き通せる感じが結構好きでした。
““Start Again” is about giving love a second chance. The lyrics describe a day spent with a past partner, walking through the city, saying things that were never said, and reconnecting to start again. There is a shared sentiment between the two that things were never quite finished and to make things work it would require honesty and a fresh start.”
'Start Again'は、愛にセカンド・チャンスを与えることについて歌っている。歌詞は、過去のパートナーと過ごした一日を描写し、街を歩き、決して口にしなかったことを口にし、もう一度やり直すために再会する。2人の間には、物事は決して完全には終わっておらず、物事をうまく進めるには正直さと再出発が必要だという共通の感情がある。
