ウクライナ系アメリカ人であるリードシンガー Eric Nizgretskyを中心に、ウクライナ救援活動のためのチャリティーショーを継続的に開催してきた彼ら。今回の曲についての話も含めて、誠実で献身的な優しさがあって好きですね。もちろん、ただ「ビーチで俳優を見た」っていうだけの曲('I Saw Jon Hamm At The Beach')もあって真面目一辺倒ではないところも好き。
“This song came to life as I wandered the quiet, orange-hued streets of Brighton Beach, where my parents and grandparents first lived when they immigrated from Ukraine to Brooklyn - reflecting on my family's history and my own emotions. I often think about my folks and the dreams they had to let go just so that I could be here. The song is about the comfort of having someone by your side during those intense, introspective moments, finding solace and understanding in a partner who is always there. Navigating the complexities of past and present experiences. Ultimately, it's a thank you to my partner, who makes my side of the bed feel like home.”
