イングランド/ノース・ロンドン拠点のオルタナティヴポップアーティスト Laurel Smithが、9/26にリリースしたニューシングル 'wolf'のMVを公開！
ディレクターは Matilda Harding Kemp。
ロックとヘヴィメタルが流れる家に生まれ、ヒップホップを聴きながら育ったという人で、スウェーデン出身のラッパー Bladeeと彼が所属するコレクティヴ Drain Gang、SOPHIEにインスピレーションを受けたとのこと。
2023年発表のデビューEP『TRASHSTARWRLD』で注目を集めたニューカマーです。
“I think in a lot of situations we can give too much of ourselves to others and in doing so allow them complete control over us. Your thoughts and the choices you make no longer feel like your own, to the point where you completely lose your sense of self. 'wolf' is a song about freedom and independence, to have the space inside yourself to grow and not let anyone else take that up.
