ニューヨーク/ブルックリン拠点のシンガーソングライター Katie Martucciが、7/29にLa Reserve Recordsからリリースしたニューシングル 'Seize'を公開！
Katie Martucciはパフォーマー・作曲家・The Ladles, Tucci Swing Orchestraのバンドリーダーとして活動するかたわら、SUNY New Paltzで声楽と作詞作曲を教える教師でもあります。
'Seize'は12月発売予定のEP『Note To Self』収録曲。楽器と声の混ざり具合が素晴らしく、特にボーカルを引き立てるオルガンとギターの役割が魅力的です。
“different stories and perspectives surrounding the idea of a ‘third thing’ in the room,” the singer-songwriter explains. “Some unspoken or not fully understood force, whether that’s tension within a relationship, or a family history, or your own personal demons, imposter syndrome, some thing that isn’t always easy to put into words, but acts on you, and acts on the people around you. I think a lot of the songs try to express that experience.”
