Jacob The Horse、'666 Chicks'を公開

カリフォルニア州ロサンゼルス拠点のパンクロックバンド Jacob the Horseが、12/4にリリースしたニューシングル '666 Chicks'を公開！

Jacob the Horseは Aviv Rubinstien, Rick Chapman, Mark Desrosiers, Josh Fleuryの4人組。

3/20発売のニューアルバム『At Least It's Almost Over』収録曲で、プロデュースは Jack Shirley (Jeff Rosenstock, Deafheaven, Gouge Away)が担当。

現代のファシズムの台頭、不安への対処、そしてアナーキーとサタンへのスローガンを歌い上げているという作品。

「My grandmother Hannah used to throw Molotov cocktails at Nazis / and I’m paying ten bucks for coffee / and writing bad poetry./ There’s no hope for me.」のパンチライン、しかもそれが事実ってところに曲の奥行きを感じます。
