イングランド/ロンドン出身のオルタナティヴロックバンド Heavy Heartが、1/23にリリースしたニューシングル 'Bed Bug'を公開！
Heavy Heartはベッドルームプロジェクトとして始まったバンドで、Anna Vincent, Patrick Fitzroy, James Vincent , Craig Brownの4人組。
今作の共同プロデューサーは、グラミー賞 Best Rock Album部門を受賞したThe War On Drugs『A Deeper Understanding』のエンジニア Gabe Wax (Fleet Foxes, Soccer Mommy, Ought)。
Bed Bug（トコジラミ、個人的にはナンキンムシの方が聞き覚えがある）という風変わりな着眼点から綴られるラブソング。
タイトに絡まるそれぞれの演奏と陰鬱で儚いメロディラインのバランスが素晴らしくて、特に2:11〜、音が散らばってまた集まる時のダイナミクスの演出とエモーションの運び方が極上です。1番と同じ歌詞、同じメロディでこの変化。最近の私は妙にハエとかシラミに惹かれてしまうな、100点！
