イリノイ州シカゴ出身でバーモント州拠点のアヴァンフォーク・オルタナカントリーアーティスト Hannah Francesが、7/8にFire Talkからリリースしたニューシングル 'Falling From and Further'のMVを公開！
Hannah Francesはボーカリスト・ギタリスト・作曲家・ダンサー・詩人。
2018年にデビューアルバム『White Buffalo』を発表。これまでに Robin Pecknold (Fleet Foxes), The Weather Station, Charlie Cunninghamらと共演し、8月終わりから FloristのEUツアーサポートを務めます。
今回のシングルは昨年の良作『Keeper of the Shepherd』、今年5月のアルバムデラックス版に続く新曲。
プログレッシブでアヴァンギャルドなフォークミュージックの要素を取り組んだ路線は継続で、個人的にはこの感じをもうしばらく聴いていたいなって思うほど好きです。
ライブでは、ソロから7人編成のフルバンドまで可変可能な機動力の高さも魅力的で、特にこれほど華麗なアレンジを作られる人なので、ライブ時の演奏にバリエーションがあると何度観ても飽きない気がしますね。
