イタリア/フォリーニョ出身のサイケデリックロックバンド Greasy Kingdomが、8/1にHideous Mink Recordsからリリースしたニューシングル 'Mr Pony Rainbow'を公開！
Greasy Kingdomは Andrea Tocci, Filippo Ciccioli, Debora Continiの3人組。GattuZan, Wonder Vincentのメンバーによるバンドです。
4月にデビューシングル 'Money For Drugs'を発表し、これが2枚目。そして9/15にデビューアルバム『Greasy Kingdom』をリリースします。
60'sサイケや70'sプログレ、The Apples in StereoからThe Lemon Twigsまで様々な音楽の影響を受けてきたとのこと。
Opus Kink主宰レーベル Hideous Minkが、前から積極的に他のバンドをフックアップしてきたのは知ってるし好きな曲は共有してきたけど、あくまでロンドンのローカルバンドに留まってた印象だったのが、いきなりイタリア、しかも人口6万人以下の小さな町の、時代性が曖昧で風変わりなバンドと契約したのが最高です。おもしろい。
