Goodvibes Sound、'I've Been Here Before'のリリックビデオを公開

イングランド/ロンドン拠点のオルタナティヴポップデュオ Goodvibes Soundが、10/13にリリースしたニューシングル 'I've Been Here Before'のリリックビデオを公開！

Goodvibes Soundは Alex, Angusの2人組。

'I've Been Here Before'は来年発売予定のニューアルバム『Sunset City』収録曲で、12ヶ月連続シングルリリースの第一弾です。

昨年発表のデビューアルバム『The Institute』が素敵だったバンドで、今回はサイケ調の作風を持つ彼らがディスコ方面へ向かったフレッシュな楽曲です。

“With I’ve Been Here Before, Goodvibes Sound go deeper than they ever have before in their musical exploration of what it means to be mindful and find peace in the modern world. The lyrics deal with feeling alone and isolated in the city, and the repetitive sense of having breakthroughs that don't last. This back-and-forth is reflected in the markedly different but connected soundscapes of the verse and chorus.”

'I've Been Here Before'では、現代社会でマインドフルであること、平和を見出すことの意味を音楽的に探求し、これまで以上に深く踏み込んだ。歌詞は、都会での孤独感や孤立感、そして突破口があっても長続きしないことの繰り返しを扱っている。この行き来は、ヴァースとコーラスの著しく異なる、しかしつながりのあるサウンドスケープに反映されている。
