それで、今回のタイミングで新しいバージョン The Marius de Vries Ghost In the Sky Mixが公開されました。
Björk, Madonna, Massive Attack, David Bowie, U2, FKA Twigsなどの作品に携わり、映画『ロミオ＋ジュリエット』『ムーラン・ルージュ』『ラ・ラ・ランド』などで音楽監督・コンポーザー・共同プロデューサーを務めたベテラン Marius de Vriesによるオルタナティヴミックスで、素晴らしかったので合わせてどうぞ。
“With Central Hotel I wanted to bring to life an encounter I had many moons ago,” explains Gemma. “Our lives intertwined for a moment in time. It's all like a ghost to me now. When I play this song live I feel transported to that place again.”
'Central Hotel'では、昔体験したある出会いを形にしたかったんです。一瞬だけ私たちの人生が交差した。それは今ではまるで幽霊みたいに感じる。ライブでこの曲を演奏すると、あの場所にまた戻ったような気がします。
