テキサス州オースティン拠点のサイケデリックポップバンド Futon Blondeが、10/11にリリースしたニューシングル 'Tight'を公開！
Futon Blondeは Janson Sommers, Mark Webb, Beng Goodman, Steve Zamoraの4人組。
2014年にJanson Sommersを中心に結成し、翌年デビューEP『Act Right』、2019年にデビューアルバム『Uppercut』を発表。州内を中心にツアーを行ない、これまでに Quiet Hollers, Blue Tongue, Glasshealerなどと共演してます。
ミックスは Dan Duszynski (Loma, Cross Record)。
地上では太いグルーヴが這って上空では紫色のギターが漂っているような抜群のバランス。
“An existential psychedelic pop song. Inspired by a high-anxiety, real life tale of a band on psychedelics and the mellow-harshing South Texas border patrol with whom they crossed paths. The band was ultimately let go, but not before (almost) every inch of their belongings were picked through and each member suffered the own quiet mini-panic attack. The song was largely written that night.”
